Prepare for an adventure like no other in the summer of 2016 when Universal Orlando Resort unveils Skull Island: Reign of Kong, the latest addition to its collection of innovative and thrilling rides.
This all-new attraction, which will open at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, will give park visitors the opportunity to experience a brand new adventure in the King Kong legend as they explore an untamed wilderness filled with dangers around every turn. There is a storyline that moves the attraction along involving a search for strange, unexplained creatures that soon has you facing apparent death as you strive to reach safety.
Peter Jackson, the director of the 2005 King Kong film, has been involved with the creation of the ride, so you can expect realistic special effects that will make it seem as if you are really traveling through jungles, caves and ancient ruins. There are lots of familiar features that fans of the film will love, including prehistoric monsters, spooky island natives and plenty of breathtaking surprises. Riders can also anticipate meeting the famous King Kong himself before the adventure is through, and Universal Creative is sure to have worked up something truly exhilarating that will have families shouting with fear and excitement.
Skull Island: Reign of Kong will offer theme park guests the chance to have an adventure of epic proportions.
