Domaine Royal Palm
Beautiful design, an endless pool, manicured gardens, a gym and superb staff all go towards making the Domaine Royal Palm an ideal place to stay when planning a vacation in Marrakech with kids. Even better, the hotel has the most amazing Kid’s Club (open 9-midnight) where junior guests will find a dizzying array of activities and toys, from arts and crafts instruments to beautiful wooden toys, a workbench and building blocks and balls to a lovely central ‘tree house’ and the flock of life-size wooden and fluffy sheep! There’s also a shallow pool, a turtle house, a state of the art kitchen where kids can bake Moroccan pancakes (complete with junior chef shirts), and a ‘screen’ room. Other kid-friendly perks include a fabulous choice of kids’ meals on the room service menu, babysitters, rollaway beds and cribs, not to mention the sweetest cuddly toy gift on arrival!
La Mamounia

Without a doubt one of the city’s smartest and most luxurious hotels, this legendary establishment is a 1001 Nights Palace dream come true. The kids will love the acres of red velvet, cosy atmosphere, twinkling lights, and water features and fountains. They will also love the friendly and indulgent staff, as well as the impressive buffet breakfast! In addition to the spa and gym, the entire family will love the huge outdoor pool (with shallow kid’s pool) and stunning indoor pool with its iridescent mosaics and golden columns. Book a crib, rollaway bed or babysitting in advance, and make the most of the great kids’ dishes with room service or take them to experience the finest in Moroccan dining at the restaurant. Another must? Looking for turtles amidst the lily pads and cacti in the beautiful gardens.
Angsana Riads

To stay in town, in a typical Riad (Moroccan town house), the Angsana Riad Collection offers a choice of several homes from home where you can book a room or stay in privatize property. It’s the ideal choice for a family vacation in Marrakech staying really centrally, right in the medina. They will provide anything you require when traveling with kids. You’ll get friendly, one-on-one bespoke service and the kitchens can prepare kid-friendly meals, while high chairs, bottle warmers and even diapers can be requested ahead. The 24-hour room service also comes in useful, while the concierge has a vast list of fun family-friendly activities on hand, from water parks to camel rides and more.
Sofitel Marrakech Lounge and Spa

With a sleek contemporary Andalusian style, the Sofitel Marrakech Lounge & Spa is another oasis of calm in town. With sumptuous gardens, it’s a great hideaway for families on vacation in Marrakech. With the medina easily accessible by foot, you’ll find it’s in the perfect location, both close to the action, but far enough away to ensure you get some peace and quiet too! Kid-friendly amenities include rollaway beds, cribs and babysitting on request, as well as a children’s Club for kids aged 6 to 12. Families will also appreciate the connecting rooms, video games area, indoor and outdoor playgrounds and the two outdoor pools. Additional perks include the gym as well as access to mini golf, 18-hole golf course and tennis courts too. Prefer to relax? The hotel also has a sauna, Hammam, Jacuzzi and tempting massage menu!
