Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Anaheim, Anaheim, California
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is designed to reflect California as it was in the late 19th and early 20th century. Located inside of Disney’s California Adventure park, families will have instant access to the many rides and attractions found throughout the park and can go back their lodgings at their leisure. There are three swimming pools at this AAA Four Diamond hotel, including the Redwood Pool that has a water slide and a designated children’s pool. Each room offers great views of the theme park as well as Downtown Disney, and there are vice presidential and presidential suites available for travelers looking for added space and comfort. Dining options include the Storyteller’s Cafe where guests can eat breakfast with famous Disney characters and Napa Rose, a restaurant serving award-winning dishes and fine wines. For kid-friendly entertainment, little ones can visit Pinocchio’s Workshop, which is the hotel’s child activity center.

So much fun!
We had a great time, except for the rain. We would love to go back when the weather.
Tips for Families
Give little kids rest time, they are just to young to spend the whole day running around!

Upscale and family-friendly hotel
We got a room with the bunk beds, and our twins slept in the bunks with our baby in a pack and play next to our bed. The hotel backs to California Adventure, and you can literally walk out of the lobby and into a private entrance of Cal. Adv. If you ask at concierge they will direct you to a private viewing balcony where you can watch the water show rather than crowding in for no view at the park. We had a great time.
Tips for Families
Next time I would request a balcony with a view of California Adventure so we can watch the water show from our balcony.

Fabulous stay at the Grand Californian
We have stayed at the Grand Californian hotel on several different Disney trips and it is our favorite hotel by far. The location is the best, the rooms are great and the service is outstanding. Having the toilet/shower room separate from the sink/mirror area (with 2 sinks!) makes things so much easier.
Tips for Families
Ask for a bunkbed room if you have kids!
