Best choice for off property vacation!!! Clean, roomy, accomodating, perfect!
We stayed in 3BR 2BA condo on 3rd floor. Balcony was “caged in” tastefully so no fear of kids falling over railings. Rooms were large and clean, bathroom was very nice and roomy. Had washer/dryer combo so we washed clothes BEFORE we left so there was less work from unpacking once we arrived home! We decided to stay an extra night and current “large family rate” (we had 5 condo booked!) was honored cheerfully by staff, but they did forget to mention we needed to reactivate our room key, so at 12:30 am after a HARD last day at MK, we packed two heavy sleeping kids up to the 3rd floor, only to have key not work (expected but forgotten!), so we had to get sleeping kids back in car then drive through unfamiliar Orlando in wee hours to reactivate key, unload sleeping kids again, THEN all was ok…but that is the ONLY complaint I had!!! Petty…yes, but the ONLY complaint! =) Pool was great but COLD in April…at least pre-teens had something to do to work out the rest of the home-from-Disney jitters!
Tips for Families
Watch out for the intersection leading up to the resort. We were almost t-boned by a speeding local. We were fine, they were fine except for dad’s broken thumbs, but of course we got the ticket being the tourists. Speed limit was 45…that car was doing at LEAST 60…tree-hidden curve…watch out! This was before we even got to property to check in!!! Oi…well, at least that was out of the way…next on the checklist…DISNEY!! On-ward, ho! Practical tips…dishes/full kitchen, take advantage of it!!! Bring movies to watch if you are wasting your time in the room and not parks. You will have PLENTY of room to cook/prep snacks if you want…it was really a HOME away from home!
