We had a wonderful, relaxing time.
It was very kid friendly. The kids had a blast at their swimming pool area and the beach. The restaurants had many options for kids to eat. The staff were friendly. Great place to see turtles.
Tips for Families
Recommend nannieshawaii.com for last minute sitting at Turtle Bay. We had Alyssa Esmond and she was an awesome sitter.

Very Peaceful Resort in Hawaii
Me & my husband stayed here in December 2010. We were traveling without our children at the time. After arriving there and seeing that is was a kid friendly Hotel we wished we would of brought them. They had 2 pools. One with a children’s area, and the other was a normal pool, but children were allowed in both. They had a private beach area where you could use there snorkel equipment and enjoy the fish with your family. While we were there a huge monk sea had come up on shore to lay in the sun. This was something we had never seen before. In the lobby at breakfast time there was an area that sold coffee’s, juice and Hawaiian pastries, as well as fresh fruit. This was very reasonably priced. The lobby everyday had 2 parrots which were on display. There were walking trails, one which led to an old WWII bunker from the war. We hiked to that one afternoon and took photos. We did not use them but noticed there was a horse stable and you could rent horses. This hotel was on the north shore so it was kinds secluded and a really peaceful place. We are hoping to someday go back and take our boys.
