Good but not great
We were pretty happy with our visit to the Breakers. The only thing that kept it from being 5-star was a bit of noise and it is kind of a long walk from the beach. Our room was not huge but it was a suite with a separate bedroom and living area. There was also a little balcony off the living room. One issue was that the bedroom was directly off the interior corridor of the hotel so this meant that there was some noise whenever people were walking by, but it wasn’t too bad. They have a little pool on the top floor that is indoor but with an open roof. This was a nice place to take the kids in the afternoons when they got tired of the beach. It is about a 3-block walk to the beach and it’s a bit of a haul for little kids. However, if you don’t mind a bit of a walk you can get pretty much everywhere you need to go in Rehoboth without using the car. Breakfast is not included at the hotel but they give you vouchers for a buffet at a big hotel on the Boardwalk. It was a little annoying to have to walk down there but the breakfast itself was super nice! Lots of great food, made-to-order omelets, etc. There were very nice beach chairs and umbrellas available at the hotel where breakfast was.
Tips for Families
Maybe get some breakfast food to keep in the hotel (there is a mini-fridge and microwave, no toaster) because you kind of have to get ready for the day before heading down to the buffet breakfast which is on the Boardwalk. Also, if you have small kids you might want to ask for a room at the end of the hallway so the noise from people walking by is less of an issue.
