Amazing Family Vacation at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island
Mission Point Resort offered our family the ultimate vacation. It had everything we needed for 3 full days of family fun. We highly recommend eating at The Bistro on the Greens, then playing the 18-hole putting course as a family, and then walking into for ice cream and/or fudge. After a long day, take the horse and buggy ride back to the hotel. Mission Point Resort offers bicycle rentals, golfing, a movie theater, a health club, a spa, a kids club, an arcade, an observation tower, ghost tours, kayak rentals, a small pool, tennis, croquet, bocce ball, and more.
Tips for Families
Mission Point has Family Suites, which no other hotel on the island offers. The family suites have two separate bedrooms, which gave the kids a fun sense of freedom and it gave my husband and I some rest and relaxation when we were in our room. Tip: Have your luggage delivered directly to our hotel room and enjoy the leisurely 10 minute walk to Mission Point from the ferry.
