Beautiful Hotel on the Water
The lobby of the hotel is stunning, immaculate and decorated in sailboat themes. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. The staff greeted us every time we walked by. There were plenty of seating areas. There is a nice pool area and there is a glass elevator to the top floor which are loft style and you can see all the way to the top from the first floor. Rooms appear clean and comfortable. It’s right in the heart of Newport and you can take the boat harbor shuttles within a short walk of the hotel.
Tips for Families
If you like a little fun get a room on top floor for the best views.

In the heart of things
Smack in the middle of the action in Newport, walk to shops, restaurants, exploring the docks. The nautical-themed, harborside hotel has waterviews, a pool, and onsite parking (which is at a premium in Newport in the summer). Rooms, though, are pretty small and kind of dated. There’s an atrium, so many of the rooms don’t have external windows, just windows into the atrium. And, no surprise, it can be noisy. If you’re looking for a convenient “home base” in Newport, though, this is a good choice.
Tips for Families
Don’t miss the Cliff Walk — gorgeous and a good way for kids to work off some energy (you’ll need to drive to it from the hotel)
