Ideal family-friendly hotel with a central location
The sprawling hotel has an onsite water park, Splashtopia, and meandering paths, a golf course and restaurants — everything a family needs for comfort in the desert. It’s a casual resort with complimentary golf cart service from your room to the main building if you don’t want to walk. Our room was in building 28, which was adjacent to the pool and overlooked the lovely golf course. From our ground level patio we had beautiful mountain views. The room was spacious and clean. I liked the location because the pool and water park were right outside our door. My favorite part of Splashtopia was the lazy river. It felt so relaxing to float around the river with views of tall palms reaching high into the deep blue skies. The resort also has a nice spa. I enjoyed my massage. Book your spa appointment in advance if possible to get the time you want.
Tips for Families
Bring swimsuits, sunscreen and cameras. The desert colors are brilliant. Ask for a room near the pool for easy access to Splashtopia.
