It was great had a lot for kids and adults to do.
I think. It was a great place to visit for a spring break or just to get away for a short time .
Tips for Families
Make sure you plan your time out wisely so that you go during a time of the year when you can enjoy and its not to crowded.

Blast in Ohio
We had such a great time at Kalahari! At check in, I asked for a “quiter” room for my son with autism where we received a room upgrade, so my younger son could get a nap! Everything was super clean and ready for families! We had a blast at the water park, enjoyed all the food options(some a little more expensive than I would have hoped, but that is to be expected), and slept great at night. The only complaint I have is that my son did get some skin irritation from the water, but he was in the water nonstop about 9 hours, and has VERY sensitive skin. Otherwise we can’t wait to go back! *My 2 year old LOVED the candy hut!
Tips for Families
Take breaks to dry off duing water play, to let skin “breathe”.

Rudest Employee’s ever *Never Again
We took the kids here during Spring Break that was our first mistake. It was so crowded we waited hours to get on slides. Almost every employee had an attitude from the towel washers to the cashiers we had rude service the whole time. I felt as if they did not value our business and we were another number there. The food inside the hotel sucked and and wait service was terrible. The cashiers were very immature and it seemed like all of the restaurants lacked any kind of management or customer service skills. Everything from check in to eating to getting a locker at the pool was unorganized. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge down the street a few years before and had a much more pleasant experience.
Tips for Families
Don’t go during spring break, stay at an alternative resort.

The kids had soooo much fun
The kids had a blast. I had to attend a 5 day teacher in-service at Kalahari in July. I took the kids and a babysitter. The kids hung out in the resort all day while I was in my seminars. It was summertime so they got to use the outdoor facilities as well as the indoor. When I finished my day at 5:00 I was able to join them. We had a memorable time.
Tips for Families
If you want to save a little on food, pack breakfast and snack items for the room. Eating out three times a day gets a little pricy.
