JW Marriott Ihilani Resort Ko Olina Kapolei, Kapolei, Hawaii
A 15-story marble-floored atrium provides an impressive introduction to the resort’s lobby. Hokulea Bar offers lagoon and ocean views, hosts live entertainment, and serves tropically inspired cocktails. The resort offers a 24-hour business center, and wireless Internet access is complimentary in the lobby. The 35,000-square-foot Ihilani Spa includes an outdoor lap pool, steam baths, saunas, Roman pools and relaxation lanais. On-site spa therapies include massages, scrubs, facials and hydrotherapy tubs. Great Oahu Location away from hustle of downtown
LOVE, love, love this location. Really like being on Oahu, but not in Waikiki. The coves make this a great beach location. Wonderful hotel and resort, luxury rooms, great food and awesome pool. Then when you add in the easy to swim in huge sandy beaches, perfection. We love Rays for a wonderful meal and great experience. The Luau at Paradise Cove is great and has been around forever, a fun experience if you have your heart set on a luau. The kids loved the exotic fish and sting rays that swim around the paths lining the resort. This location is the perfect spot, easy access to waikiki, the north shore, pearl harbor and really anywhere on Oahu. We loved our time at the Sea Life Park, my son said he could see Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler walking around from the film. We all swam with the dolphins and had fun doing it! My only wish is that Hawaii isn’t so far from Upstate NY, we were visiting family in Seattle when we made the trip!
Tips for Families
We avoided the rush hour through Honolulu and tended to head out early for our exploring and then spent afternoons at the beach and hotel. We would grab lunch while out to save a bit of money.
