Leave the Dog and the Kids at Home
This is a casino – not a family resort. Leave the kids and the pets at home. We booked a Memorial Day trip to AC at Harrah’s because they allow dogs. The hotel accepts dogs under 50 lbs but is not a friendly place for people with dogs. There are no clear guidelines for your pet stay on the website and the rooms they give to dog families have fewer amenities than regular rooms (no in room safe, no services list, etc.). They offer no special services, no bags for cleanup, no dog area, no dog in room signs, nothing. The housekeeping staff talk on their phones and knock on doors in the hall so the entire floor of dogs begin barking early in the am. Apparently they require dogs to be crated but it is not posted anywhere, so bring one along. Avoid Harrahs!
Tips for Families
Leave the pets at home. And bring your own safe, if you decide to come.
