Best place to stay with kids in Saratoga
We have stayed here multiple times, and I think it’s the best place to stay when in Saratoga. It’s located right downtown, so you can walk to everything: stores, restaurants, Children’s Museum, Congress Park. (There are some other hotels/inns located in town, but the inns aren’t kid-friendly and I’ve found service/accommodations to be spotty at the other hotels). The Hampton is relatively new (built less than five years ago), rooms are spacious (we usually snag a two-queen “studio suite” that has a sofabed — you get a lot of extra space in the room), there’s free breakfast each morning, a heated indoor pool… just a great place to stay with kids.
Tips for Families
Kids will love toy store G. Willikers. Head to Cantina’s for delicious Mexican food (kids’ meals proceeds benefit the local hospital’s emergency room). If you’re visiting during horse racing season (May-September) and the kids are up at the crack of dawn, hop in the car and make the five minute drive to the Oklahoma Training Track (East and Union Avenues) to watch the horses in their sunrise workouts.
