A Hotel the Family Can Agree On
Let’s just begin with the obvious- kids love pools. So a stay at an indoor waterpark is sure to thrill them. And the indoor waterpark at the Great Wolf Lodge is fabulous. While my youngest adored the wave pool and the area specifically for small children, my eldest was exploring the fort and making friends in the lazy river. The girls loved our KidsKamp suite. Their “tent” had bunk beds and its own TV. My favorite part of the room was the key- it’s in a band on your wrist. With this magnetic key you can charge items to your room – no need to bring along a bag when you go to the pool! While we didn’t get a chance to enjoy Scooops Spa or the Arcade, we did play MagiQuest. Agame of magic and riddles, the ‘wizards’ are kept busy following clues to defeat goblins and battle dragons. Quite a lot happens in the lobby, where you’ll find oversized coloring pages, nighttime storytelling, and the Wolf Walk. Restaurants on site are quite good, the breakfast buffet at the Loose Moose Lodge is a perfect way to begin the day.
Tips for Families
An outdoor waterpark expands the resort during the spring, summer, and early fall.

Loved the lodge, water park! Only complaint is the cost of food and magi quest game. We had a great time.
Tips for Families
We are homeschoolers and it was great going at off times. No crowds or lines!

This was a great vacation spot for kids ranging from 4 years old to 14.
Tips for Families
We went to the grocery store and had plenty of snacks and breakfast food in the room. The restaurant can get expensive.

The Most Fun New Year’s Eve for Families
We have done this for the past few New Year’s Eves. It is now a family tradition for us. Along with this trip, we try to make it to GWL once a year. The family enjoys the water park, the arcade is a hit. And you cannot forget about MagiQuest. The kids love it. MagiQuest is almost the #1 reason for the trip
Tips for Families
When your kids start getting older and can roam about by themselves, MagiQuest proves to be a great break for Mom and Dad
