Nice place to stay after a long drive
After driving all day we finally pulled off the free way around 9:00 pm to find a hotel for the night. We found one we thought would do and as we turned around to go back, we saw this motel and decided to check it out. We are so glad we did. The man at the front desk was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He had suite with three beds, perfect for our family of 5, for a very reasonable rate. He also pointed out several local restaurants in the area. He sent us back to the car with cookies and apples for the kids. The motel is slightly older but the room was clean and large. The pool was nice – open until 10- so we could get some of the wiggles out before putting the kids to bed. Breakfast in the morning was nice. There wasn’t a huge selection and no protein but we felt lucky that we didn’t have to go try to find something to eat in a town we were completely unfamiliar with. If we ever get back this way, we would stay here again. We stayed in 5 hotels (all of them more expensive) on our trip and this was the kids favorite.
Tips for Families
Ask for the suite with three beds. We put our air mattress in the “closet” by the bathroom and all the kids got their own bed that night.

Nice Hotel
We enjoyed this place but we felt the pool had a little to much chlorine in it. we went to the water park that was inexpensive and not far from hotel we also ate at a restaurant that reminded us of “three finger jacks” in Winthrop. i cant remember the name of it though we will be back in june 2015
Tips for Families
have fun!
