A $55-million renovation and a change of management have done this kid-friendly Kissimmee hotel a lot of good. Now a waterpark resort, Flamingo offers endless fun for kids and families, boasting waterslides, splash pads, and a lazy river. And it’s so close to Disney World that you can just hop on their free shuttle to go, if you can pull yourself away from the waterslides that is. The best part is they offer great value so you won’t have to splurge for some waterpark family fun.

    Wish it was closer.

    The hotel was nice for the price, I got a groupon to stay here. Not very conveniently located to Disney parks. Took about 25 minutes and 2-3 tollbooths to get to it. Wish it was closer. Overall a good experience though.

    Tips for Families

    If the drive isn’t an issue, its a pretty good value for a family on a budget.
