A VACATION TO REMEMBER
Aruba is our all-time favorite, family-vacation destination, and Divi is our go to resort as it is an extraordinary place to stay and relax with your loved ones and your friends. We have gone two consecutive years, and this year we stayed at the Divi Golf and Beach Resort in a one bedroom suite which includes a huge bedroom, two bathrooms, a sofa bed, a nice sized kitchen, dining area, living room and nice balcony. It is a great family resort with with a number of tasteful restaurants, including Windows of Aruba, an award winning restaurant on site. It has a number pools for everyones taste. If you want peace and quiet you can go to the pool in the front of the resort, if you want fun for the kids you can go to the pool with the slides. If you want to drink and swim, there is a spectacular infinity pool and bar overlooking the breathtaking views of the beautiful beach across the way. The beach is to die for, especially on days when there are no waves or tides. But kids love to play in the waves, so a couple of days of waves for the kids sake is great. There are volley ball and soccer nets on the beach, there is a beach bar and Jolly Pirate water sports. Needless to say, we all had a blast! The staff caters to your every need and concierge is very helpful. When you stay at Divi, you can also use all other Divi Resort facilities, pools, beaches etc… So we would spend some beach days at Divi Golf & Beach resort, and other beach days at the The Divi Phoenix, etc… This year we were a group of 15 kids and adults. Last year we were a group of 35 kids and adults. We had an amazing time and would love to go back!!!
Tips for Families
If you are budget conscious then go to the local supermarket and stock up on water, breakfast items, snacks etc… The island has amazing restaurants, but they are expensive, so your best best is to eat in for breakfast, order a pie or go for fast food for lunch and save your taste buds and wallet for dinner…it is sooo worth it. Too many delicious restaurants on the island to pass up. El Gaucho, Madame Jeannette, Flying Fishbone and Matthews are some of our favorites.

Another awesome time in Aruba!
Our third visit to Aruba was like coming home if home is heaven. This was our first time at a Divi resort and the first time with our new baby. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!
Tips for Families
Use lots of zinc oxide sunscreen and shade for the little ones! The grocery stores all carry standard baby food and stuff like that, so don’t bother buying that stuff ahead of time.

Perfect for Kids, wonderful resort
Parents are timeshare owners and we stay with the kids in an adjoining room. The resort is great, rooms are spacious and very well furnished. Granite countertops, big flat screen tvs on the wall, surround sound, and plenty of space to move around. The resort grounds are gorgeous, great golf course, the pools are perfect for adults and kids. Beach is a 5 min walk.
Tips for Families
The large pool is perfect for adults and kids. They have a walk in side for the little ones to play in and a nice big waterslide for the bigger kids. Swim-up bar at the other end for the adults too 🙂
