Great for kids 10 and younger

We stayed in a condo which is huge with a full kitchen. It is not connected to the waterpark though. The weather was nice for the end of October on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin so the run to and from the waterpark wasnt bad. They had a costume contest for the kids with a resort gift card as the prize. And trick or treating at a few locations in the main hotel. But the water park is very small. Even for our 7 year old who brought a friend it became repetitive. The game room has just a few games with just a few choices for prizes. It is really a shame. The place is gorgeous and the view is equally nice. But the waterpark is so small, we will not go back. We went years ago when our 12 year old was 5 and it worked out well. But now, I guess we have outgrown the place.

    Tips for Families

Best for families with young children. If the weather is nice take advantage of the grounds and being right on Lake Michigan. Go for a walk, fly a kite…

Frolicked, dined, and splashed at Blue Harbor with the family to upgrade our dreary winter.

This place was roomy and family-friendly, from the themed rooms kids love, wide halls (perfect for a preschool to run through), ice cream parlor, and of course, lovely indoor waterpark. My son was exhausted at the end of each day!

    Tips for Families

We dressed up one night and had an early dinner at Latitude, a nice place on the other side of the resort. Also absolutely loved the breakfast buffet, worth it’s payment. I’d recommend bringing board games for the hotel room.
